Welcome to the Vienna Youth, Inc. (VYI) Lacrosse home page. VYI Lacrosse participates in the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL). The purpose of the NVYLL is to provide the youth residing within the geographical boundaries of northern Virginia a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity and as a corollary to develop qualities that may help them in later life, sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.
Don't delay, get those orders in today. It's always fun to wear a Vienna shirt on the sidelines as a proud parent. Players love having Vienna shirts or shorts or socks to wear at practice and in school. Please order by Friday March 31st for a speedy turn around!
Little Lax is our program for our youngest lacrosse enthusiasts (5-7 year olds) - girls and boys. All that is needed to participate in Little Lax is a lacrosse stick, athletic shoes, water to drink, and a desire to have some FUN learning the "Fastest Game on Two Feet." :-)
Girls' Little Lax will be held 12:00-1:00 pm at Clarks Crossing Field; boys' Little Lax will be held 2:30-3:30 pm at Clarks Crossing Field - on the following dates:
(1) Sunday, April 2
(2) Sunday, April 23
(3) Sunday, April 30
(4) Sunday, May 7
(5) Sunday, May 14

Many/most of you will have practices and/or games at Oakton HS this season.
The school has asked that we remind everyone that the access driveway that leads up to the OHS fields (both stadium and practice fields) is ONLY to be used by "Authorized Vehicles." It is NOT to be used by "civilian" vehicles that are dropping off/picking up players, coaches, equipment, etc.
Only those vehicles with official DMV handicap placards/license plates and official emergency/medical/school vehicles are allowed to use the access driveway.
If problems persist, the school has put us on notice that we will lose access to their fields.
We are fortunate in that parking spaces are plentiful over at OHS - please make use of them. :-)
Thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
Concussion awareness is a growing topic in youth sports. In support of our athletes, VYI Lacrosse is providing an overview of concussions to both raise concussion awareness and also instill knowledge about the symptoms and risks of concussions across our coaching staff and parent community.
Please take a few minutes to review the information, which includes signs and symptoms of concussion and return to play risks and guidelines.
Parents are also encouraged to visit the "Heads-up" page on the CDC website to review concussion information and symptoms:
All VYI families can update their contact information: addresses, phone numbers and e-mails at any time. Here's how:
1) Click on the 'Edit My Account' button at the bottom of the lower left hand menu options.
2) Enter your e-mail address and password. (Don't know your password, just read the instructions above the data entry box.)
3) Click on any family member's name and you will have access to change what you need.
Keeping your information up to date is important. All VYI sports rely on the contact information in our database and out dated information may cause you to miss important updates.
How can you COMPETE WITH CLASS and HONOR THE GAME?
