Welcome to the Vienna Youth, Inc. (VYI) Lacrosse home page. VYI Lacrosse participates in the Northern Virginia Youth Lacrosse League (NVYLL). The purpose of the NVYLL is to provide the youth residing within the geographical boundaries of Northern Virginia a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity and as a corollary to develop qualities that may help them in later life, sportsmanship, team play, and integrity.

The James Madison High School Sports Leadership Program will host two VYI Nights this Spring:

• For girls' lacrosse, on Friday, 4/24/26 at Madison HS.  The girls' varsity game is scheduled to start at 7:30pm. 
• For boys' lacrosse, on Friday, 5/8/26 at Madison HS.  The boys' varsity game is scheduled ot start at 7:15pm.

For both VYI Nights, youth athletes wearing their VYI jerseys, accompanied by a paying adult, would receive free admission to the game.  After both games, the youth athletes would have the opportunity to meet and speak with the Madison players.

(For the girls' varsity game on 4/24/26, before the game, VYI players will have an opportunity to be in the starting lineup.)

The JMHS Sports Leadership Program is very happy to host these two events, and to create meaningful experiences for the youth players!

Little Lax is a program for our youngest lacrosse enthusiasts - only equipment needed is a lacrosse stick!

There will be four sessions, as follows:

Session 1:  Sunday, 4/12/26  4:00-5:00 pm

Session 2:  Sunday, 4/19/26  4:00-5:00 pm

Session 3:  Sunday, 4/26/26  4:00-5:00 pm

Session 4:  Sunday, 5/3/26  4:00-5:00 pm

All sessions will take place at Clarks Crossing Park in Vienna.

The focus is on FUN and sparking a love of the game.

3/21/26 - 3/22/26

3/28/26 - 3/29/26

4/4/26 - 4/5/26 (No games - Easter weekend)

4/11/26 - 4/12/26

4/18/26 - 4/19/26

4/25/26 - 4/26/26

5/2/26 - 5/3/26

5/9/26 - 5/10/26 (Last weekend of regular season games for G3/4, G5/6, G7/8, 10U, 12U, 14U)

5/16/26 - 5/17/26 (Playoffs for G3/4, G5/6, G7/8, 10U, 12U, 14U; last weekend of regular season games for 8U and GK2)

5/23/26 - 5/24/26 (No games - Memorial Day weekend)

5/30/26 - 5/31/26 (Possible Fun Day tournaments for 8U and GK2 - TBD)

As noted in our FAQ page, boys' regular season games are usually played on Saturdays; girls' regular season games are usually played on Sundays.  

Due to scheduling/field availability issues, all G3/4, G5/6, G7/8, 10U, 12U, 14U teams will have at least ONE double-header weekend (games played on Saturday and Sunday in a given weekend).
