In May, we will shift Sundays to other locations as Marshall is under going field and/or track renovations starting 5/1.  We will not have practice on meet days, so a few conflicts will be removed that way and we will have a meet at Madison on Sunday 5/25.  We will have a meet on 5/4 so details to come on location for practice on 5/11 and 5/18 and if there are any meets on those weekends - so stay tuned for updates).

The Track & Field program offers training and competition opportunities for all school-age youth. We provide instruction in every event offered by USA Track & Field according to age group. With practices beginning in in late March, some of the events that our track & field team members can compete in are:

* Sprints -- 100 & 200 meters

* Middle distance -- 400 & 800 meter run

* Distance -- 1500 & 3000 meter run

* Hurdles

* Relay Races

* High Jump, Long Jump, & Triple Jump

* Shot Put, Discus Throw, & Javelin Throw

Some more advanced athletes may compete in more advanced events such as the pole vault, with parental approval and additional equipment expense. Whether you want to improve your running form, build speed and endurance, have fun through vigorous exercise, learn a field event, enjoy competition, or just to have fun in an outdoor environment, we hope to see you on the track!

Our main age range is 7-14 but we will occasionally have younger siblings that are 6 join the team. We also have some home schooled HS students join us as well.
